The protection of your personal data during collection, processing and use is important to us. Your data will be protected within the framework of the legal regulations (EU GDPR). Below you will find information about which data is collected during your visit to the homepage, in which ways and how it is used:

Collection of personal data:

In the course of an order placed with us in the shop and/or creation of a customer account, we collect the following personal data:

Name

First name

Address (street, house number, postcode, city)

E-mail address

Phone number

Password

The permissibility of this processing is governed by Art. 6 para. 1 a), b) GDPR.

Each time our websites are accessed, they collect a series of general data, which are stored in the log files of the server.

These data may include:

Date and time of the page visit

IP address

Operating system used

Information about the type of browser used

The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from the personal data and are only used for the optimization and statistical evaluation of our page contents.

The permissibility of this processing is governed by Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR.

Data transmission via contact form or e-mail:

If a person contacts us electronically by e-mail or via the contact form, the transmitted personal data (e.g. name and e-mail address) will be stored for the purpose of processing.

The permissibility of this processing is governed by Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR.

Utilization/use of personal data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

Creation and management of your personal customer account

Processing your orders

Contact in case of queries / ambiguities about your order

Answering your contact (by e-mail or contact form)

Dispatch of Theraline-related product surveys

Advertising measures

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of processing the contract (e.g. to service providers commissioned by you to process payments).

Duration of the storage of personal data

The relevant statutory retention period is decisive for this. Insofar as retention periods under commercial and tax law must be observed, the storage period for certain data may be up to 10 years. After expiry of this period, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted if it is no longer required for the fulfillment of the contract.

Rights of the user

You have the right to information about your stored personal data, its origin, recipient and the purpose of data processing at any time. Likewise, you have the right to rectification, objection, restriction, transferability or deletion of this data, provided that there are no legal requirements to the contrary.

The right of objection includes in particular the possibility to object to the processing of your own data for advertising purposes.

For all questions on the subject of data protection at Theraline and if you wish to obtain information about the data stored about you, please contact: datenschutz@theraline.de

Cookies

Our websites use cookies. These are small text files that are stored by your web browser on your end device (smartphone, tablet, PC, etc.) and contain pseudonymized data. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness and security of the websites. By setting options of your browser, the setting of cookies can be prevented at any time and already set cookies can be deleted separately. If the setting of cookies is deactivated by the user, it is possible that not all functions of the website can be used to their full extent.

The permissibility of this processing is based on Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in the optimized presentation of our website.

Use of social media plugins

This website uses Facebook social plugins in the form of the Facebook & Instagram logo. The plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. Your visit to our site may therefore be tracked by Facebook if you have a Facebook account or have already visited a page with Facebook social plugins.

ou can find an overview of possible Facebook Plugins here:

https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

We have no influence on the content, scope and use of the data that the plug-in transmits to the servers of Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA).

You can find out more about Facebook's privacy policy here: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php

Log out of your Facebook account to prevent the transmission of the data of your visit to our site to Facebook.

Google Fonts

We use external fonts via the Google Fonts service. This is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Through its use, information about the use of the website (for example, date and time of the call, IP address, etc.) is transmitted to Google servers in Ireland and stored. If necessary, data may also be transferred to the USA. For cases of data transfer to the USA, Google has a certification for the Privacy Shield agreement. You can find more information about this directly at Google https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks?gl=de.

We use Google Fonts to enable you to use external fonts to improve the presentation of the website.

The permissibility of this processing is governed by Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR.

Google Analytics

This website uses the service "Google Analytics", which is offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain view, CA 94043-1351, USA). Google Analytics is a web analysis tool that evaluates data about the behavior of users of a website. This service is based on "cookies" that are sent to a Google server and stored there. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. If a user accesses the website from a member state of the EU or the European Economic Area, the IP address is shortened and thus anonymized. This eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookies and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Further information on data protection in the context of Google Analytics can be found at:

https://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html

The permissibility of this processing is governed by Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR.

Vimeo-Plug-in

We use the provider Vimeo for the integration of videos. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, LLC with headquarters at 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011.

On some of our pages, we use plugins from the provider Vimeo. When you call up the pages of our website that are provided with such a plug-in, a connection is established to the Vimeo servers and the plug-in is displayed. This transmits to the Vimeo server which of our Internet pages you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of Vimeo, Vimeo assigns this information to your personal user account. When using the plug-in, such as clicking on the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account.

You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your Vimeo user account before using our website.

You can find further information on data processing and notes on data protection by Vimeo under

https://vimeo.com/privacy

The permissibility of this processing is governed by Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR.

You can find out more about PayPal's privacy policy here:

https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

The permissibility of this processing is governed by Art. 6 para. 1 a), b) GDPR, since the processing of the data is necessary for payment by PayPal and thus for the execution of the contract.

In addition to PayPal, we offer payment by credit card in our shop. This payment option is offered by the service provider BS PAYONE GmbH, Frauenhoferstr. 2-4, 24118 Kiel. SSL encryption

To encrypt your data, which is transmitted to us, e.g. during order processing, we use the industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This is currently the most secure data transmission method on the Internet.

Possibility of complaint

If you believe that your rights have been violated during the collection, processing or use of your personal data, you can contact the competent data protection supervisory authority. The latter investigates the complaint and informs the person concerned of the result.
